Other latest technologies and services including wearables, automotive tech, self-driving cars, home automation and flying drones will also be displayed at the local event of the world’s biggest consumer electronics show.
Hisense, one of the top TV vendors in China, has developed AI technologies in its latest models to help viewers use facial recognition technology to identify players taking part in the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The technology will instantly display the players’ names and data on TV.
Another company taking part at the show is Shenzhen-listed iFlytek, a specialist in voice recognition technology, which has AI incorporated in a range of products like portable translator, voice assistant tool used in cars and speakers in smart home system. Baidu and Alibaba also displayed their latest AI functions connected to smart driving and online shopping.
More than 500 exhibitors are attending the three-day show held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. It ends tomorrow.
